The NFL closes out the 2019 regular season with a potential barnburner of a game on Sunday Night Football. The Seattle Seahawks host the San Francisco 49ers with everything on the line. Kickoff is set for 8:20 p.m. PT on NBC.
The 49ers are 12-3 and lead the division ahead of the 11-4 Seahawks. The Seahawks beat the 49ers earlier this season at Levi’s Stadium, so if Seattle wins, they move into a tie for first place and claim the head-to-head tiebreaker. If that happens, Seattle would claim either the No. 2 or No. 3 seed depending on how Week 17 goes for the the Packers. If the 49ers win, they win the division and claim the No. 1 seed in the NFC.
The 49ers are a 3.5-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook, after opening at 1.5 points. The point total sits at 47. The 49ers are -162 on the money line, and the Seahawks are +132. The 49ers are 8-6-1 against the spread this season and have gone over the point total eight times. The Seahawks are 7-7-1 ATS and have gone over the point total eight times as well. This is the first time the 49ers have been a road favorite against the Seahawks since 2011.
The big news this week is the potential return of Marshawn Lynch to Seattle. Running backs Chris Carson and C.J. Prosise both suffered injuries in Week 16 that will keep them out of Sunday’s game and potentially well into the playoffs. Seattle signed Robert Turbin and Lynch could join the team next.
However the final injury report shakes out, there will be plenty of betting and fantasy implications in this game. We’ll be tracking everything for the game. Check back here throughout for everything that goes down in this monster NFC West matchup.
