The NFL announced on Monday that Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Josh Gordon has been suspended indefinitely without pay for violating the NFL policies on performance-enhancing substances and substances of abuse.

Gordon has not played a full season since his rookie season. In that time he has faced numerous suspensions. Most have dealt with substance abuse violations, and he has also missed time to enter himself into various rehab facilities. This marks his fifth suspension for violating the substance abuse policy, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

This season, he played six games with the Patriots before being placed on injured reserve with a knee injury. He was eventually waived from the list and claimed by the Seahawks. He played in five games in Seattle prior to this latest suspension. He finished the season with 27 receptions for 426 yards and one touchdown. He is signed through this season.
