Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is set to start in Week 15 against the Denver Broncos, but his hand remains a concern. FOX Sports reporter Jay Glazer said on the pre-game show that Mahomes struggled with his group the first few days of the week, but start to come around on Thursday.

Mahomes did not break his hand last week, but he reportedly told the Chiefs he’d play even with a break. He’s ready to start in Week 15, but Glazer said the Chiefs are worried about what might happen if he takes a hit on the hand or otherwise hits a helmet.

Fantasy football/betting analysis: Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes

If you have Mahomes on your fantasy football roster, you absolutely have to start him. He’s going to start and will get plenty of opportunities against the Broncos. The injury is concerning, but he was listed as a full participant in practice, so that’s a plus.

On the other hand, if you are figuring out who to wager on in this game, you might want to stay away from the Chiefs. Mahomes is hurting and the weather is not pretty. Betting the under might be your best option for Week 15.
