The New York Jets and Baltimore Ravens square off in the final Thursday Night Football game of the season. We get short week Saturday football the following week, but Week 15 represents the final week of two teams having to play a football game four days after their last game.
The Ravens have won nine straight and have a chance to clinch the AFC North with a win. They could clinch a first round bye and even home field advantage if some other things fall their way — although the Patriots losing to the Bengals to help Baltimore seems unlikely.
The Jets are 5-8 and have won four of their last five to get to this spot. They’re in a fairly respectable position considering where they were. The win over Oakland is impressive, but 3-1 against the Giants, Washington, Dolphins, and Bengals is not exactly saying a lot. But, wins are wins.
The Ravens are 14.5-point field goal favorite against the Jets at DraftKings Sportsbook, with the point total sitting at 45. The money line opened with the Ravens at -835 and the Jets at +575. The Ravens are 7-5-1 against the spread and have gone over the point total seven times. The Jets are 5-8 against the spread and have gone over the point total six times.
Lamar Jackson showed up on the Ravens injury report as limited early in the week, and will be one to track. It also looks like Mark Andrews will be a question for the Ravens.
We’ll be tracking everything for the game, from odds to fantasy. Check back here throughout for everything that goes down in this AFC matchup that closes out 2019 Thursday Night Football.
