DeVante Parker, Ryan Fitzpatrick lead Dolphins in upset win over Eagles

The QB-WR stack proved to be favorable in fantasy football and DFS on Sunday’s main slate. We recap each of their performances.

Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker and QB Ryan Fitzpatrick made the Philadelphia Eagles defense look worse than it already was in an upset 37-31 win in Week 13 on Sunday. Fitzmagic connected with Parker for two TDs, including a highlight reel 43-yard grab late in the first quarter. Miami improved to 3-9 on the season, winning its third game in the past five. The Eagles had a chance to tie the Cowboys for first in the NFC East at 6-6, but now drop to 5-7. Let’s get into the fantasy recap though.

Fantasy Football Analysis: Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Fitzpatrick and WR DeVante Parker

It’s a bit surprising the Dolphins were this cheap and this under-owned on DraftKings considering how poor the Eagles’ secondary has been this season. Fitzmagic ($5,400) and Parker ($5,700) combined for 68.7 fantasy points and were a huge leverage play in GPPs, both coming in at low ownership. Fitzpatrick threw for 365 yards and three TDs, while Parker hauled in seven catches for 159 yards and two TDs.

If you were ballsy enough to start both Fitzpatrick and Parker in season-long leagues, you’re probably heading to the playoffs (unless your season was lost a while ago like mine). Parker is likely owned, but Fitzpatrick may be worth scooping up for the stretch run in your season-long league since the ‘Phins schedule is soft-ish and they’ll need to throw a lot.
