The NFL wraps up Week 9 Sunday with what should be a great Sunday Night Football matchup of potential playoff opponents. The Baltimore Ravens host the New England Patriots on what should be Lamar Jackson’s biggest test of the regular season. The game kicks off at 8:20 p.m. PT on NBC.
The Patriots are undefeated atop the AFC East with an 8-0 record, while the Ravens are 5-2 and hold a two-game lead atop the AFC North over the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Patriots are headed into their bye next week, while the Ravens are coming out of their bye, having won three straight prior to it.
New England opened as a 3.5-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook, but now sit at an even field goal. The point total is 44.5. The Patriots are -175 on the money line, while the Ravens are +150.
The injury report has plenty of names, but Baltimore is expecting a couple notable players back. Cornerback Jimmy Smith and wide receiver Marquise Brown are both listed as questionable, but the expectation in Baltimore is that both will be playing on Sunday. For New England, Rex Burkhead, James White, and Julian Edelman are all listed as questionable, but all three are expected to play.
However it shakes out, there will be plenty of betting and fantasy implications in this game. We’ll be tracking everything for the game. Check back here throughout for everything that goes down in what could be a playoff preview.
