The AFC North gets its time to shine to open Week 11 with the Cleveland Browns hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday Night Football. Prior to the season, this was viewed as a potential marquee matchup. Then, the Browns stunk up the joint early in the season and the Steelers lost Ben Roethlisberger to a season-ending injury. Now, both teams are trending in the right direction, and it’s an interesting game once again.
The Browns are a slim home favorite against the Steelers, laying 2.5 points at DraftKings Sportsbook, with the point total sitting at 40.5. This is only the third time dating back to at least 1984 that the Browns have been favored against the Steelers. The Browns were a 2.5-point favorite in 2014, 2.5-point favorite in 2013, and a three-point favorite in 2003 — all three games coming at home. The Browns are 1-2 straight up and against the spread in those three games.
The Steelers are expecting to get starting running back James Conner back in the lineup. He’s missed two games with a separated shoulder, but early week indications are that he thinks he’ll be good for Thursday.
