The Houston Texans take on the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday, January 6. There are major playoff implications riding on this game for both teams. Earlier this season, the Colts defeated the Texans, 31-20, but the Texans enter this game as 2-point favorites. Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET.
Here, we’ll go over some of our favorite prop bets for the matchup. All odds are courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
Texans vs. Colts player prop bets
Dalton Schultz — over 4.5 receptions (-130)
Schultz is just six receptions away from earning a major incentive bonus, so we can expect to see CJ Stroud targeting him plenty in Saturday’s game to get him as close to the mark as possible. Schultz was targeted four times in Week 17 and 11 times in Week 16.
Devin Singletary — over 61.5 rushing yards (-115)
Singletary has been seeing an increasing carry and target share as the season goes on, and has surpassed 60 rushing yards in three of his last four games. The Colts allow over 127 rushing yards per game on average, making them the sixth-worst team in the league at stopping the run. We can expect to see plenty of Singletary on Saturday.
Nico Collins — anytime TD scorer (+125)
With Tank Dell and Noah Brown both out, Collins is the undisputed WR1 for the Texans. He has scored three touchdowns in his last five games. With CJ Stroud back from concussion protocol, the Texans won’t be afraid to air out the ball downfield. Collins had seven receptions for 80 yards last week.
