Vikings vs. Raiders, Week 14: Pick against the spread

Minnesota (6-6) has dropped two straight tight ballgames and came up short in a 12-10 setback against the Bears last Monday night. This was an ugly game for Josh Dobbs as he threw four interceptions in the setback. The good news for him is that he’ll have Justin Jefferson back on Sunday, who has missed the last two months with a hamstring injury. Despite their tough luck over the last two weeks, the Vikings are still currently the No. 6 seed in the NFC.

Las Vegas (5-7) is fresh off its bye week and was last seen falling to the Chiefs in a 31-17 loss in Week 12. Even with two straight losses, the vibes with the team still remain positive as Antonio Pierce fights to get the interim tag removed. The Raiders sit right on the edge of the AFC Wild Card race and could not afford a loss this Sunday.

The Pick: Raiders +3

Las Vegas is 4-2 against the spread at home this season and will be fighting to stay in the playoff race this Sunday. I think the Raiders will take advantage of the “Passtronaut” coming back down to earth and I think that they’ll come away with the outright win this week.
