Bucs vs. Falcons, Week 14: Pick against the spread

Tampa Bay (5-7) avoided a potential season-crippling loss last Sunday, holding off the Panthers in a 21-18 victory to keep pace in the NFC playoff hunt. The Panthers were driving later before Antoine Winfield Jr. picked off Bryce Young to seal the win for the Bucs. The game also featured Mike Evans securing his 10th straight 1,000-yard season.

Atlanta (6-6) maintained its grip on top of the NFC South standings with a 13-8 victory over the struggling Jets last Sunday. It was an ugly game offensively for both sides, but the Falcons were able to get the job done with three turnovers, a pair of Younghoe Koo field goals, and a MyCole Pruitt touchdown.

The Pick: Falcons -1.5

Tampa Bay is 1-7 against teams who currently have a .500 record or better, meaning that it's struggled mightily against semi-decent opponents. The Falcons edged this Bucs team in a 16-13 victory back in October and with Arthur Smith actually deciding to use Bijan Robinson in recent weeks, I think the Falcons will cover as a home favorite on Sunday.
