Best player prop bets to consider for Jets vs. Browns in NFL Week 17

Teddy Ricketson goes over their favorite player prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Jets vs. Browns in Week 17 of the 2023 NFL season.

The New York Jets will take on the Cleveland Browns in Week 17’s edition of Thursday Night Football. This will be the final Thursday night game of the season, and Cleveland quarterback Joe Flacco will have revenge on their mind, taking on his former team. The Browns have won three straight, while the Jets are coming off a win over the Washington Commanders.

Here are our favorite player prop bets for Thursday’s matchup, with all odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

Jets vs. Browns player prop bets

Jerome Ford — Over 12.5 rushing attempts (-125)

Ford has played well as the starting running back of the Browns after taking over for Nick Chubb, who suffered an early season-ending injury. He has played in 15 games and has 743 yards and four touchdowns on 189 carries. Ford had 15 carries in last week’s game against the Houston Texans. If Cleveland is leading late in the game, which I expect they are, Ford could be used to chip away at the clock down the stretch.

Joe Flacco — Over 36.5 passing attempts (-130)

Flacco has looked like a younger version of himself in his return to the NFL with Cleveland. He gets the chance to take on his former team on Thursday night and could be playing with a chip on his shoulder. Flacco has played in four games with Cleveland and has thrown 175 passes, averaging 43.75 attempts per game. Even on a three-game win streak, he has yet to attempt fewer than 42 passes.

Garrett Wilson — Over 4.5 receptions (-160)

You may think that because Wilson lost quarterback Aaron Rodgers to begin the year, he has had a horrible season with Zach Wilson, Tim Boyle, and Trevor Siemian under center. The second-year wide receiver has played in 15 games and has brought in 88 of his 153 targets for 958 yards with three touchdowns. Wilson has had at least nine receptions and 14 targets in two of his last three games. He should finish with at least five receptions on Thursday night.
