Full list of Week 17 straight-up picks with confidence levels

We make picks for all 16 NFL games with levels of confidence ahead of Week 17.

The NFL wraps up the 2023 calendar year this weekend as Week 17 gets underway. The playoff picture is getting clearer, but plenty is still left to be sorted out. Six teams have punched their ticket, but eight spots are left to be grabbed and none of the seeding is sorted out yet.

Week 17 is the first week to not include a Monday game, although technically the Monday Night Football branding gets one more game. The Jets and Browns kick off the week on Thursday Night Football, and then the Lions and Cowboys face off on Saturday on an ABC/ESPN broadcast at 8:15 p.m. ET.

The rest of the slate runs on Sunday and as many as six more teams could secure a playoff berth. Six division titles could be decided as well. The top seed in each conference could also be decided, although the AFC is more likely to have that happen than the NFC.

In the meantime, we’re back with straight-up picks for Week 17 of the regular season. We pick each game’s winner, and then slot the picks based on confidence levels — high, medium, low, and no. A game with three asterisks (***) after it indicates a game where I’m picking the betting underdog to get the win.

Last week, I was 9-7 overall with my picks. I was 3-1 on high confidence picks, 2-2 on medium confidence, 3-3 on low confidence, and 1-1 on no confidence.

On to Week 17 picks!
