Dolphins vs. Commanders, Week 13: Pick against the spread
The Dolphins come into this game as a 9.5-point favorite as of Monday evening. It makes sense too. Miami and Tua Tagovailoa possess the league’s top-scoring offense while the Commanders have the worst defense against the pass in the league and are middle of the road against the ground attack. Miami lost against Kansas City in Frankfurt before their bye week and then dismantled the Jets on Black Friday to get back on track. This Washington defense is a far cry from New York’s stacked unit, so expect the Miami offense to cruise here.
Washington has lost three straight and five of their last six overall. They possess the league’s worst scoring defense, giving up an average of 29.2 points per game and are coming off a 45-10 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving. Their offense is middle of the pack, coming in at 21st in the league, but Sam Howell gets sacked more than anybody else in the NFL. He’s hit the ground 55 times this season, 15 more than any other signal caller. Miami has 38 sacks on the season, which is the third most in the NFL.
