The Seattle Seahawks and the Dallas Cowboys meet in a Thursday Night Football showdown to jumpstart Week 13 of the NFL season. Kickoff from AT&T Stadium is set for 8:15 p.m. ET, with playoff implications at stake for both teams. The Seahawks will look to remain alive for an NFC Wildcard spot, while the Cowboys hope to stay afloat with the contenders in the NFC.

Seahawks vs. Cowboys, Week 13: Pick against the spread

After briefly holding the top spot in the NFC West, the Seahawks have lost three of their last four games and are currently clinging onto a hopeful wild-card spot. Their last loss came in a dominating 31-13 defeat to the San Francisco 49ers, in which Seattle’s lone score came off a defensive takeaway. The Seahawks’ 19th-ranked scoring offense could have their hands full against a stout Cowboys defense playing at home.

Dallas enjoyed their Thanksgiving turkey early thanks to a 45-10 rout of the Washington Commanders in Week 12. Dak Prescott threw for 331 yards and four touchdowns as he connected with 10 different receivers on the afternoon. A high-octane Cowboys offense that is averaging 41.0 PPG at home will face a Seahawks defense allowing 22.6 PPG (22nd) so far this season.

It feels like a cardinal sin to pick against the Cowboys when playing at home, especially against inferior competition. Dallas’ average scoring margin balloons to +29 when at AT&T Stadium, and with the Seahawks' offense plagued with inconsistency and injuries to the backfield, the Cowboys should be able to win by at least two possessions on Thursday.

The Pick: Cowboys -8.5
