Best player prop bets to consider for Chiefs vs. Raiders in NFL Week 12

Larry Truscott goes over their favorite player prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Chiefs vs. Raiders in Week 12 of the 2023 NFL season.

NFL: New York Jets at Las Vegas Raiders Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

Fresh off a disappointing loss to the Eagles, the Kansas City Chiefs are on the road for an AFC West contest against the Las Vegas Raiders. The Chiefs have a healthy lead in the division, but they could use a win after dropping two of their last three. They haven’t lost to the Raiders since Week 5 in 2020.

The Raiders have been playing better football since firing head coach Josh McDaniels, going 2-1 since that joyous occasion. They lost to the Dolphins last week, 13-20, but they did cover a 14-point spread. This week they’re 10-point underdogs to the Chiefs.

Points might not be as easy to come by for either team this week as you would expect. Each of Kansas City’s last six contests have gone under, and the Raiders have been under in four games in a row now. Still, there are some player props I’m interested in this week.

Chiefs vs. Raiders player prop bets

Davante Adams — OVER 62.5 receiving yards (-115)

Adams has been busier since the coaching change, and he’s now had at least 82 receiving yards in his last two games. He was targeted 13 times in both of those contests too, catching exactly 50 percent of the throws coming his way. He’s had at least 73 receiving yards in each of the Raiders’ last three games as underdogs at home.

Patrick Mahomes — OVER 259.5 passing yards (-115)

The problem isn’t that Mahomes can’t hit that number, it’s that he doesn’t really have the kind of reliable wide receivers he needs to get there consistently. He’s thrown fewer than 200 yards in two straight games and hasn’t had more than 260 in his last three. But the Raiders could help with that. In his last four of five road games against them, Mahomes has had at least 295 passing yards.

Rashee Rice — Anytime touchdown scorer (+215)

Sure, Travis Kelce is a safe bet to score, but I’m looking for at least one player prop here with a good payout. Rice is second on the team in receiving scores—four to Kelce’s five—and he’s scored a touchdown in three of the Chiefs’ last four Sunday games.
