Best player prop bets to consider for Buccaneers vs. Colts in NFL Week 12

L Truscott goes over their favorite player prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Buccaneers vs. Colts in Week 12 of the 2023 NFL season.

I didn’t think we’d be able to say this in Week 12, but the Indianapolis Colts and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are both chasing the playoffs. This week, with those stakes on the line, they’ll face off at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

The Colts are favored by 2.5 points in this one. However, they’ve lost nine of their last 10 home games, while the Bucs have covered in their last four contests. The project point total is currently sitting at 44.5, according to DraftKings Sportsbook. Here are a few player props I like for this game.

Buccaneers vs. Colts player prop bets

Jonathan Taylor — OVER 20.5 receiving yards (-110)

Taylor is back in the swing of things after his early season injury, and the Colts have returned him to the center of their offense. He’s going to see a heavy workload this week. Rushing yards are hard to come by against the Bucs' defense, but running backs are having better luck as pass catchers. So look for the Colts to feed Taylor the ball on lots of short passes and take the over on receiving yards for him.

Rachaad White — OVER 52.5 rushing yards (-115)

White’s struggled to put up efficient rushing numbers lately. Last week, the 49ers held him to just 30 rushing yards on nine carries, part of which can be blamed on the game script too. Still, White’s only topped this number once in his last six games. But the Colts have been soft on the run lately, giving up at least 138 rushing yards in each of their last four games. I’m willing to bet that White can have a more productive day on the ground this week.

Baker Mayfield — UNDER 240.5 passing yards (-115)

The Colts have a top-five pass defense, and they have only given up more than 200 passing yards once in their last five games. It’s tempting to take the over here because Mayfield’s thrown for at least 246 yards in three straight games, but I’ll essentially be taking a bet on the Colts to keep Mayfield’s yardage totals depressed this week.
