The battle to take the first QB in the 2024 Draft heats up this week when the New England Patriots (2-8) hit the road to square off against the New York Giants (3-8). While neither team is likely to get the No.1 pick, they still have a shot at being able to draft the first QB available based on how the draft board may shake out. Kickoff for the game is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Patriots vs. Giants, Week 12: Pick against the spread
The Patriots have been a disaster this season, and specifically at the QB position. Mac Jones started the season under center, and some hoped having a real offensive coordinator this season would help him, but he hasn’t. He’s been benched at times this season in favor of Bailey Zappe, but that hasn’t worked out either. So it’s safe to say that the Patriots will be looking for a new signal caller in the upcoming draft. The Patriots were on a bye in Week 11.
The Giants signed Daniel Jones to a contract extension in the offseason, but they failed to cover up some of the flaws they had last season. Those flaws have been shown on full display this season, and now Jones will be out for an extended period with an ACL injury. There have been some sideline outbursts from players as well, so they have some things to clean up during the offseason. Although they signed Jones to an extension, they have a decision to make on whether or not he is still the guy for the future. The Giants surprised everyone in Week 11 with a 31-19 win over the Washington Commanders.
