Buccaneers vs. Colts, Week 12: Pick against the spread
The Bucs entered the year with hopes of competing in the NFC South. While they aren’t out of the picture just yet, they haven’t been performing like a playoff team on a consistent level. Baker Mayfield won the job out of camp and has been solid this season, but not good enough to keep them over .500. They’ve also been able to run the ball, but they rank dead last in the league at 32nd in rushing. The Bucs are coming off a 27-14 loss at the hands of the San Fransisco 49ers.
The Colts have been a bit of a surprise this season. They’ve been able to tread water, with rookie Antony Richardson missing the majority of the season with various injuries. Backup Gardner Minshew has been has completed 63 percent of his passes for 1,721 yards and eight touchdowns in his absence. The Colts were on a bye in Week 11.
