The Philadelphia Eagles are taking on the New York Giants in Week 18 of the NFL season. Philly needs a win to have a shot at winning the AFC East, but it would need the Dallas Cowboys to lose to the Washington Commanders for it to happen. The Eagles are playing their starters, including wide receiver A.J. Brown. After an awkward tackle, Brown stayed on the field, clutching at his knee. He was eventually able to walk off under his own power.
That was Brown’s first reception of the game, and he took it for nine yards. The Eagles are already locked into the playoffs, so they may take extra caution with Brown looking at the big picture rather than risking further injury while needing to rely on Dallas to lose.
A.J. Brown injury updates
Update: Brown has been ruled OUT for the remainder of the game. While it could be related to his knee, the Eagles also went ahead and benched their starters after going down 24-0 against the Giants.
Update: Brown is considered questionable to return and has been diagnosed with a knee injury.
Update: Brown is walking to the locker room. On the one hand, it is good that he is walking, but the fact that he needs further testing is concerning.
Update: Brown has gone into the blue medical tent.
