The New Orleans Saints will host the Carolina Panthers for their Week 14 showdown this Sunday and might be without tight end Taysom Hill for the contest. Hill has been dealing with a both a foot and a hand injury and hasn’t been seen at practice all week.

Taysom Hill injury updates

Friday update: Hill was not spotted at practice on Friday, the third straight day where he will go down as a DNP on the injury report. Considering that he hasn’t practiced at all this week, we should expect him to be officially ruled out for Sunday’s contest.

Fantasy football analysis

Hill has once again occupied a Swiss Army knife role within the Saints offense and entered Week 14 ranked as the No. 5 fantasy TE in standard leagues. He has hauled in 25 receptions for 229 receiving yards, 70 carries for 346 rushing yards, and five total touchdowns on the year. Hill’s potential absence this Sunday deprives the Saints of one of their useful weapons, but it could mean more looks for Alvin Kamara, and both Foster Moreau and Juwan Johnson.
