Cleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper exited the game in Week 13 against the Rams after suffering a concussion in the second quarter. He is in concussion protocol and returned to practice on Friday after missing both Wednesday and Thursday. The Browns face the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday in Week 14.

Amari Cooper injury updates

Friday PM update: Cooper is officially listed as questionable and will need to clear concussion protocol before Sunday to be able to go. That wouldn’t be out of the question so now we just wait.

Friday update: With the recency of the head injury, we can expect that Cooper will remain questionable as he continues to go through concussion protocol.

Fantasy football analysis

If Cooper is out or limited in this week’s game, we can expect to see Elijah Moore and Cedric Tillman pick up most of the slack. The Browns have not yet named a starter for Week 14, so we could see Joe Flacco or Dorian Thompson-Robinson under center. Last week, Flacco found tight end Harrison Bryant for five targets, so keep an eye on him this week in fantasy.

Betting analysis

Cooper’s absence would no doubt be noticeable on the Browns’ offense, but the quarterback question looms larger on overall betting practices than the wide receiver does.
