Game-day update: DeVante Parker is a surprise inactive after getting limited practices in all week. JuJu Smith-Schuster, Tyquan Thornton and Jalen Reagor all get a boost.
The New England Patriots head to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers on Thursday Night Football for Week 14. The Steelers are currently 6-point favorites and the total is a laughably low 30 points. Both teams have injuries to deal with. The Steelers are without their starting quarterback Kenny Pickett, and the Patriots are without their star running back Rhamondre Stevenson.
The Patriots No. 1 receiver, Demario Douglas is out, while their No. 1 receiver from last week, DeVante Parker, is questionable with a knee injury. Parker was able to get in limited practices this week and should be able to play.

Fantasy football analysis
Depending on your source, Parker had between seven and nine targets against the Chargers last week. Those extra targets are likely throwaways that went in Parker’s general direction, but whichever number you use, Parker was the clear lead receiver. He caught four of those targets for 64 yards. And in a game where New England scored zero points, that was a significant stat.
He’s shown a good rapport with current QB Bailey Zappe, so we can expect him to once again lead the team in target share, but we can also be wary of his fantasy upside, especially if Joey Porter Jr. is in coverage.
NFL DFS analysis
Parker has some DFS upside, especially in the Showdown for this game. He has the most upside of any of their receivers and he has a middling price of $5,600 to roster him as a flex. With Demario Douglas out, expect Parker to be heavily involved.
There’s no reason to think the Patriots turn their offensive woes around in Pittsburgh against against a strong defense. Parker should get his opportunities, but he’s not a game changer.
