The Baltimore Ravens are coming off their bye week and are set to host the Los Angeles Rams for their Week 14 matchup this Sunday. Below, we’ll take a look at the status of quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Lamar Jackson injury updates

Friday update: Jackson returned to practice on Friday. It appears that he’ll be good to go for Sunday’s game.

Thursday PM update: Jackson missed practice due to an illness, per Ian Rapoport. This is a situation to monitor, but usually NFL players can play through illnesses.

Thursday update: Jackson was not spotted on the field during the media viewing part of practice on Thursday. According to ESPN’s Jamison Henley, this was the first practice that he has missed all season. He was not listed on the injury report on Wednesday, so we’ll see if gets added later this afternoon.

Fantasy football analysis

While his absence from Thursday’s practice may not end up being that serious, keep an eye on his status heading into the weekend. Jackson has been the catalyst of the Ravens’ offense this season as expected and heads into Week 14 as the No. 10 fantasy QB. He’s compiled 2,618 passing yards, 574 rushing yards, and 18 total touchdowns, averaging 18.9 FP per game.

As has been the case for the past few seasons, backup Tyler Huntley would be the guy if Jackson were unable to go.

Betting analysis

Baltimore enters the game as a 7.5-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook, but that number would drop dramatically if Jackson were to miss this contest.
