The Miami Dolphins are taking on the Baltimore Ravens in Week 17. It has been a game to forget in Miami, but they came into it banged up and missing some key pieces. Injuries continued throughout the game, and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa picked up a left shoulder injury and had a quick visit in the medical tent.
Tagovailoa went 22-of-38 passing for 237 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions before getting hurt. He scrambled twice and picked up 14 yards. If Tagovailoa is unable to return, backup quarterback Mike White will be under center. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Tagovailoa remain on the bench or Miami deploy an all-out rushing attack to try to run the clock and get out of the game without suffering more injuries.
Tua Tagovailoa injury updates
Update: Tagovailoa said after the game that his shoulder is just sore, which would be good news for the quarterback.
Update: Tagovailoa is questionable to return to the game. Miami is getting blown out, so there isn’t much reason to bring him back in, as next week’s game against Buffalo is officially for the AFC East.
