The Cincinnati Bengals are taking on the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 17 of the NFL season. Wide receiver Tee Higgins left the game early due to an injury and was being tended to by trainers. In a high-profile matchup, he would be a tough loss for Cincinnati if the injury is serious.

Higgins brought in his lone target for a 19-yard gain. He has played in 11 games this season and remains the second-best receiving option for Cincinnati. Higgins has brought in 41 of his 74 targets for 637 yards and five touchdowns. Ja’Marr Chase is the team’s best receiver, and with Higgins sidelined, Tyler Boyd, Trenton Irwin and Andrei Iosivas will have to step up and give him some help in an important AFC matchup.

Tee Higgins injury updates

Update: Higgins has returned to the game in the second half vs. the Chiefs. The Bengals have a 17-13 lead in the third quarter.

Update: Higgins is dealing with a hamstring injury and has been deemed questionable to return.
