Inactives update: Murray is officially ACTIVE. He’s not a must start this week, but he does have some upside against a weak Eagles pass defense.

Game day update: Murray is expected to play on Sunday in spite of only one practice this week, per Ian Rapoport and Adam Schefter.

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray is dealing with an illness ahead of Week 17 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Murray did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday and was a limited participant at Friday’s practice. If he does not play, backup Clayton Tune will start. Head coach Jonathan Gannon said he expected Murray to play on Sunday.

Fantasy football analysis

If Murray is absent, we can expect Rondale Moore, Trey McBride, and Michael Wilson to see a decrease in fantasy points. Clayton Tune is 12-for-21 for 62 yards and two interceptions this season. However, Murray is expected to play.

NFL DFS analysis

Murray comes in at $6,300 in daily fantasy as a FLEX at DraftKings Sportsbook. The Eagles allow the second-most fantasy points per week to opposing quarterbacks, so this is a solid price for Murray.

Betting analysis

Murray’s illness is not expected to keep him out this weekend, but if it does, we can expect to see the line move in favor of the Eagles.
