Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis was banged up throughout the week leading up to Sunday’s matchup against the Houston Texans, but was still able to start. He was sacked by Jerry Hughes and fumbled, but the big story is that he was carted to the locker room following the play. While he is sidelined, veteran QB Ryan Tannehill will take over under center.

Before the injury, Levis was 2-of-6 passing for only 16 yards. He has earned the starting job over Tannehill, who started the season slowly and suffered an injury that sidelined him for several weeks. Levis has played in eight games and has thrown for 1,792 yards with eight touchdowns and four interceptions. For comparison, Tannehill has played in eight games and has thrown for 1,280 yards with two touchdowns and six interceptions.

Will Levis injury updates

Update: Levis has been ruled OUT for the remainder of the game. Tannehill will remain under center as the Titans look to make a comeback.

Update: Levis has been listed as questionable to return and was diagnosed with a foot injury.
