The Arizona Cardinals announced their Week 13 inactives list and they will have wide receiver Marquise Brown and tight end Trey McBride active on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Both were listed as questionable on the final injury report but are good to go ahead of kickoff.
Brown has been dealing with a heel injury the past two weeks and this is the second consecutive week it has resulted in a questionable designation. He was active last week in spite of the injury and finished with six receptions for 88 yards against the Rams. A week ago he was limited on Wednesday and a DNP on Thursday and Friday. This week, he was a DNP all three days.
McBride sat out Wednesday’s practice with a groin injury. He was upgraded to limited on Thursday and Friday. This is his first appearance on the injury report and he’s coming off a seven-reception, 60-yard performance last week.
Brown is banged up, but clearly able to go and be productive. He faces a shaky Steelers pass defense that is getting Minkah Fitzpatrick back in the lineup. McBride should be good to go against a Steelers defense that has been decent against tight ends. Arizona waived fellow tight end Zach Ertz, but he hadn’t played since late October.
