Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III is dealing with both a shoulder injury and an illness ahead of their Week 17 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers this Sunday. He’s been dealing with injuries throughout the back half of the regular season and has been dealing with this particular shoulder injury since last week.

Seattle is trying to maintain its spot as the final Wild Card team in the NFC.

Kenneth Walker III injury updates

Friday update: Walker has officially been ruled as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Steelers. Head coach Pete Carroll went a step further and said that he’ll be a game-time decision. Walker did not practice on either Wednesday nor Thursday and was listed as a limited participant on Friday.

Fantasy football analysis

As mentioned before, Walker has been banged up as of late and him potentially missing Sunday’s game would be a huge loss for both the Seahawks and fantasy managers alike. He entered this week as the No. 18 RB in fantasy football, taking 192 carries for 774 yards and seven touchdowns on the year. If he’s ruled out, then rookie backup Zach Charbonnet would assume the role of primary ballcarrier while DeeJay Dallas would get some carries too.
