Inactives update: Collins is officially active. His upside takes a hit with Case Keenum in at QB, but he should see enough work to have fantasy relevance still.
Game day update: Collins is expected to play on Sunday, per Adam Schefter.
The Houston Texans will face the Cleveland Browns in Week 16 of the NFL season. Houston has ruled out rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud, and that may not be the only offensive weapon missing. Wide receiver Nico Collins is questionable due to a calf injury. He was a limited practice participant every day this week.

Fantasy football analysis
Collins heads into this week with 1,004 yards and six touchdowns on 60 receptions in 12 games. He is the overall WR18 in half-PPR scoring. It’s impressive that he is ranked so high, even with missing four games. Collins didn’t play in last week’s game with Case Keenum, but if he is active he figures to be the top option for the backup QB.
Cleveland allows the third-fewest fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. Even with the injury and the matchup, if Collins is active, he can be started in 10-team leagues or larger.
NFL DFS analysis
With Stroud ruled out, Collins is the most expensive player for this DFS matchup. If you want to roster him as your captain, it will cost $15,900 of your total allotted salary. Collins’ price drops to $10,600 if you use him as a flex play. The Browns allow the second-fewest DFS points to opposing wide receivers, so exercise caution if you want to use him with a backup under center.
Collins’ receiving line at DraftKings Sportsbook is 45.5 yards, but he doesn’t have a live reception total at the time of this writing. He is installed at +245 to score a touchdown in the game and +1200 to score the first touchdown.
