The Miami Dolphins are hosting the Dallas Cowboys in a big Week 16 matchup on Sunday. Miami drove down the field, and a play after running back Raheem Mostert got hurt, wide receiver Jaylen Waddle was poked in the eye. It seemed like a deep poke as Waddle was in a lot of pain and getting checked out by trainers.
Waddle had been targeted four times in the early part of this game but had only come down with one of them. Still, it went for 50 yards and helped the Dolphins extend a drive that started near their own goal line. Tyreek Hill is the first option in the passing game, but came into today still getting over an ankle injury. If Waddle is sidelined when Miami gets the ball back, Cedrick Wilson Jr. and Chase Claypool would likely be in line for more targets behind Hill.
