The Minnesota Vikings are taking on the Detroit Lions in a pivotal NFC North game in Week 16. Rookie wide receiver Jordan Addison suffered an ankle injury during a Nick Mullens interception. He went into the medical tent for further evaluation.
Before the injury, Addison had brought in one of his three targets for two yards. He has played in all 14 games of his rookie season, bringing in 62 of his 91 targets for 824 yards and nine touchdowns. He is second on the team in yards and receptions, but leads in touchdown receptions. While he is sidelined, Addison will likely be replaced by a combination of Justin Jefferson, K.J. Osborn and Brandon Powell as the Vikings look to upset the Lions in an important playoff implication matchup.
