The Cleveland Browns are taking on the Houston Texans in Week 16 of the NFL season. Kicker Dustin Hopkins has picked up a hamstring injury during the game that appears to be bothering him. Texans’ running back Dameon Pierce returned a kickoff for a touchdown, and Hopkins is suspected of picking up the injury while trying to chase him down.

Hopkins had made both of his extra points in this game and hasn’t had the chance to attempt a field goal yet. He came into this week 33-for-36 on field goal attempts with a long of 58 yards. Hopkins is the second-best fantasy football kicker this season, behind only Dallas Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey. Cleveland could have punter Corey Bojorquez’s attempt kicks, but it is more likely if Hopkins is sidelined that, they will go for it on fourth downs where they would normally kick.

Update: The CBS broadcast of the game has said that Hopkins has been ruled out. Cleveland also does not have an emergency kicker so while the punter will be handling any kickoffs, they will likely be going for it in any field goal or extra point spots.

Update: Cleveland scored a touchdown and went for a two-point conversion. Hopkins was shown to be on the sideline without his helmet, and the broadcast said that he was experiencing a lot of pain when attempting kicks on the sideline.

Update: Hopkins is listed as questionable to return to the game.
