Game status update: Moore is officially active for the Bears.
The Chicago Bears will visit the Cleveland Browns for their Week 15 matchup this afternoon and wide receiver DJ Moore is listed as questionable with an ankle injury. He missed practice on Wednesday, but was upgraded as a limited participant on Thursday and a full participant on Friday.
We’ll go over what his status could mean from a fantasy and betting standpoint below.
DJ Moore injury
Fantasy football analysis
The veteran has been explosive in his first season in Chicago, hauling in 76 receptions for 1,071 yards and seven touchdowns. He entered Week 15 as the No. 7 fantasy WR in PPR leagues, averaging 17.8 FP per game for fantasy managers. He showed off his versatility in last week’s 28-13 victory over the Lions by scoring his first career rushing touchdown.
His full participation in practice on Friday is a good indicator that he’ll be able to go this afternoon. While that would be a relief for fantasy managers, keep in mind that this is a tough matchup as the Browns possess the best pass defense in the entire league. If he’s unable to suit up, that would be a huge blow and Darnell Mooney would step forward as the top receiver option for the Bears.
NFL DFS analysis
Moore enters this week’s contest with a DFS price of $6,900. Again, this will be a tough matchup for the Moore as the Browns are yielding a league-best 159.7 passing yards per game. Consider other options to insert into your DFS lineups.
Cleveland enters the game as a 3-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook, accompanied by a total of 37.5. Moore’s status shouldn’t have a dramatic affect on those lines, but I’d look into grabbing a Bears team under if he is ruled out.
