The New York Giants are taking on the New Orleans Saints in Week 15. Quarterback Tommy DeVito went to give himself up while scrambling with the ball and took a shot from a New Orleans defender. He was slow to get up, but eventually made it back to his feet. It was enough that he was pulled from the game and sent into the blue medical tent.
DeVito was 9-of-16 for 73 yards in the first half and had scrambled for an additional 36 yards on four carries. While he is sidelined and getting tested for his concussion, backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor will be under center for New York.
Tommy DeVito injury updates
Update: DeVito didn’t start for New York after half, but just ran back out on the field and has returned to the game.
Update: DeVito came out of the medical tent and then ran to the locker room. It was five seconds before the first half ended, though so it could have just been that he was cleared and heading in early.
