The Indianapolis Colts host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday in one of the biggest games on the Week 15 slate. The winner firms up their wild-card position while the loser likely drops out of the final playoff spot. The Colts will have to handle their business without their biggest playmaker.

Running back Jonathan Taylor suffered a thumb injury in Week 12 and had surgery. While he did not go on injured reserve, he’ll miss his third game since the injury. He was ruled out for Week 15 after sitting out all three practices.

Zack Moss will get a third straight start in Taylor’s absence. In two starts the past two weeks, Moss has rushed for 79 yards and caught six passes for 34 yards. Trey Sermon will serve as his backup. Last week, Sermon rushed three times for 13 yards.

Fantasy football analysis

Taylor’s absence means Moss once again retains solid RB2 value. He has shown solid PPR value the past two weeks, but it’s important to note he had strong overall value the first four weeks of the season when Taylor was on the PUP list. The Steelers rank 19th in fantasy points allowed against running backs. Moss is a solid start. In DFS, he’s still got some value until Taylor returns to the lineup. You might find some value this week if other entrants are down on Moss after the past two weeks.
