Saints WR Chris Olave is dealing with an ankle injury going into Week 15 vs. the Giants. We break down the news for fantasy football and betting.

The New Orleans Saints will take on the New York Giants in Week 15. The New Orleans offense has struggled this season and could be in for a tough game against New York. Top wide receiver Chris Olave suffered an ankle injury in Week 14, and it seems like it is still bothering him heading into this week.

Chris Olave injury updates

Friday update: Olave will be listed as questionable, per Kat Terrell.

Thursday update: Olave didn’t practice for the second straight day. He only has one day left of practice this week and another absence could see him being ruled out for Sunday’s game.

Wednesday update: Olave didn’t practice to begin the week and is dealing with an ankle injury. Only slight concern so far, as Olave has plenty of time to get back on the practice field and suit up this weekend.

Fantasy football analysis

The Giants’ defense allows the third-most fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers. This is a prime matchup for Olave if he is healthy. Despite Derek Carr’s poor performance this season, if Olave is healthy, you can start him in 12-team leagues or larger. If he is inactive, Rashid Shaheed and A.T. Perry should see a boost. Shaheed can be started in 12-team leagues, while Perry would be a deeper dart throw in 14-team leagues or larger.
