Game status: Taysom Hill is INACTIVE for Sunday’s game.

Game day update: Taysom Hill is expected to miss Sunday’s game due to his foot and hand injuries, per Ian Rapoport.

The New Orleans Saints will host the Carolina Panthers for their Week 14 matchup this afternoon and tight end Taysom Hill is listed as questionable for the contest with both a foot and a hand injury. He did not practice at all this week and will most likely be declared out for the contest.

We’ll go over what his status could mean from a fantasy and betting standpoint below.

Taysom Hill injury

Fantasy football analysis

Hill has once again operated as the Inspector Gadget of the Saints offense and entered this week as the No. 5 tight end in standard leagues. That was the case last week against the Lions as he hauled in two receptions for 15 yards, along with 13 carries for 59 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

If he’s unable to go today, then Juwan Johnson will operate in the role of a more traditional tight end in his place.

NFL DFS analysis

Hill enters Week 14 with a DFS price of $5,400. He’s been hit or miss in this format by averaging just 9.9 FP points per game. I’d look elsewhere for a tight end in your lineup considering that he’ll most likely be declared out.

Betting analysis

New Orleans enters the game as a 6-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook, accompanied by a total of 38.5. Hill’s injury won’t affect those numbers, but starting quarterback Derek Carr is also listed as questionable. The spread could drop if he’s unable to suit up for this contest.
