The Houston Texans will take on the Denver Broncos in Week 13. Houston’s offense has been firing on all cylinders recently, and it has largely been due to rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud and rookie wide receiver Tank Dell’s connection. Unfortunately, Dell has been dealing with a calf injury and may be unable to play in this game.

Tank Dell injury updates

Friday update: Dell was limited again on Friday and has been listed as questionable for Sunday’s game.

Thursday update: Dell was upgraded to limited at practice on Thursday. He will have one more practice to show enough to avoid an injury designation heading into the weekend.

Wednesday update: Dell didn’t practice to begin the week. It could be largely cautionary but something to monitor.

Fantasy football analysis

Dell has played in 10 games this season. He has brought in 47 of his 75 targets for 709 yards and seven touchdowns. He leads the team in receiving touchdowns and is second behind Nico Collins in receptions and yards. Dell would have a tough matchup if he is active. They are allowing the seventh-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers.

If Dell is active, he should still be started in 12-team leagues or larger. It’s a tough matchup, but he sees a consistent target share, and there are six teams on bye. If he is inactive, Houston will turn to Collins and Noah Brown (if he is active) as their top pass-catchers with tight end Dalton Schultz ruled out.
