The Cincinnati Bengals will visit the Jacksonville Jaguars for their Week 13 matchup this Monday and could be getting wide receiver Tee Higgins back for the primetime matchup. Higgins has been dealing with a hamstring injury and has missed the last three contests for the team.
Tee Higgins injury updates
Friday update: Higgins was upgraded to a full practice on Friday. As long as he is able to go full again on Saturday, he should be cleared to play on MNF.
Thursday update: Paul Dehner Jr. reported that Higgins was at practice with his helmet and gear. This is a great sign that the wideout will be able to play on Monday.
Fantasy football analysis
This will be a relief for Cincinnati to get Higgins back on the field as his presence will make things easier for quarterback Jake Browning in his second start following Joe Burrow’s season-ending injury. Higgins’ hasn’t been as explosive as he’s been in year’s past, but has still been a productive piece of the Bengals’ offense. He caught 27 receptions for 328 yards and two touchdowns, ranking as the No. 66 WR in PPR leagues. Cincy had been relying on a committee of pass-catching options behind Ja’Marr Chase in his place.
If Higgins returns, I’d take the over on Jake Browning pass yards for this game.
