Kenneth Walker is INACTIVE for Week 13 vs. Cowboys

The Seahawks published their Week 13 inactives report, and Kenneth Walker III is INACTIVE for their matchup against the Cowboys. We break down what it means.

The Seattle Seahawks will take on the Dallas Cowboys for Week 13’s edition of Thursday Night Football. A short week is not what Seattle needs right now with their injuries. Running back Kenneth Walker III is dealing with an oblique injury and will miss another game. He didn’t practice all week, so it wasn’t surprising when Seattle released its final injury report, and Walker was ruled inactive.

Walker has played in 10 games this season. He has 613 yards and six touchdowns on 149 carries. Walker has added 173 yards and another score, bringing in 17 of his 23 targets. With Walker out, rookie running back Zach Charbonnet will take over as the starter. He has logged exactly 47 rushing yards in each of his last two games. Last week, he added 11 yards on four receptions. With the stout Dallas defense, Charbonnet will likely see more work in the passing game.

The Dallas defense allows the fifth-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing running backs. Charbonnet is a tough start, even with six teams on bye. With Walker out, he should get the bulk of the running back workload, but you should be able to find a better matchup in 10-team leagues or smaller.
