The New Orleans Saints are taking on the Atlanta Falcons in Week 12 of the NFL season. The Saints may have to play the remainder of the game without wide receiver Rashid Shaheed. He was injured during the game and was seen being helped to the locker room with a towel on his head. The broadcast reported they were looking at his hamstring, and the towel on the head suggests that it could be serious.
The Saints wide receiver depth is already limited as Michael Thomas was added to injured reserve coming out of the team’s bye week. Shaheed has the second-most receiving yards on the team, with 525. He has brought in 31 of his 50 targets and has been a solid contributor behind Thomas and Chris Olave.
