The Miami Dolphins will take on the New York Jets in an AFC East divisional battle on Friday, November 24. Rookie running back De’Von Achane came into game day listed as questionable with a knee injury. Despite being a limited practice participant every day this week, Achane has been ruled INACTIVE ahead of kickoff.
Achane missed four games on injured reserve due to his knee injury. He finally returned in Week 11, but logged only one rush and one reception before re-injuring it and being sidelined for the remainder of the game. Head coach Mike McDaniel said that Wednesday’s practice was going to determine if the RB would play on Friday, and it seems like they didn’t see enough to risk putting him back out there. Raheem Mostert should see a ton of work as third-string running back Salvon Ahmed was added to IR this week.
The Jets defense allows the third-most rushing yards per game. New York also allows the 10th most fantasy points to opposing running backs. This should be a big game for Mostert, with Jeff Wilson Jr. serving as the backup and having some value in 14-team leagues or larger as well as a deep flex in DFS.
