The Miami Dolphins are taking on the New York Jets on Friday, November 24. During Miami’s first drive of the game, wide receiver Tyreek Hill was tackled hard after a reception. He got up limping, and made his way to the sideline. Hill was checked out and only missed two plays, but his ankle is heavily taped. With speed being his main weapon, it could certainly limit him for the remainder of the game.
Hill is the Dolphins’ top wide receiver and one of the best in the entire league. He came into the game with 1,222 yards and nine touchdowns on 79 receptions. Before the injury, Hill had already picked up 35 yards on his first reception. He finished the drive with 52 yards on two receptions and two additional yards on a carry. Hill was targeted on a fourth down fade in the endzone, but wasn’t able to come down with it.
If Hill is limited in his ability to extend the field, Miami could lean on backup wide receiver Jaylen Waddle.
