The Houston Texans will take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in an AFC South battle in Week 12. The Texans offense has been clicking with rookie quarterback CJ Stroud under center, but he may be down one of his favorite weapons on Sunday. Wide receiver Noah Brown is still dealing with a knee injury after missing last week’s game.

Noah Brown injury updates

Friday update: Brown missed practice again on Friday and has been ruled OUT for Sunday’s game heading into the weekend.

Thursday update: Brown is again not practicing. He didn’t practice all week last week and was still eventually listed as questionable for the game. Still, it would be a step in the right direction if Brown could at least log a limited practice on Friday.

Wednesday update: Brown is not practicing on Wednesday.

Fantasy football analysis

Brown heads into this game with 439 yards and a touchdown on 21 receptions over five games. Despite some big games, he comes in as the overall WR59 in half-PPR scoring formats. He hasn’t practiced in two weeks up to this point, and you have to assume if he plays, he will be limited.

The Jaguars’ defense is giving up middle-of-the-road numbers to opposing wide receivers. While you shouldn’t start Brown if he is active, you can absolutely look at starting Tank Dell in 10-team leagues and larger and then putting in Nico Collins in 12-team leagues or larger.
