Detroit Lions running back David Montgomery is getting checked out for an injury in Week 12 of the NFL season. Monty had just converted a two-point conversion against the Green Bay Packers following a touchdown and got up slowly from being tackled. He had a noticeable limp and went to the bench, where trainers evaluated him.

Before getting hurt, he had 55 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries. He hasn’t been targeted in the passing game, and Detroit is working its way back from a 23-6 deficit. Monty has missed time this season with an ankle injury, so there is slight concern that he may have re-injured it. It didn’t look bad for what that is worth, but still, this will be one to keep an eye on. If he misses any of the next drive, rookie running back Jahmyr Gibbs figures to be the main recipient of more work.

Update: Monty was on the field to open the second half. He picked up a few yards on a carry as the Lions were battling being backed up to their own endzone.
