Aaron Jones injury updates
Wednesday update: Jones has been ruled OUT for Week 12 against the Lions.
Jones is considered week-to-week and will likely sit out of this Thursday’s game against the Lions.
Fantasy football analysis
If Jones sits out, as expected, we will see a lot more of AJ Dillon in the Packers’ rushing game. Dillon had 14 carries for 29 yards and four receptions for 32 yards in last week’s win. When the Packers faced the Lions earlier this season, Dillon finished with five carries for 11 yards.
Betting analysis
Jones’ absence will certainly affect the Packers’ offensive capabilities. Quarterback Jordan Love has had his struggles this season, and Jones has been a solid option to move the ball forward. The Packers are 3-4 with Jones playing and 1-2 without him on the field — and the single win in his absence was the one-point victory over the Saints.
