Miami Dolphins running back De’Von Achane is still dealing with a knee injury he suffered back in October. He was activated off injured reserve last week, but ended up re-aggravating his knee in Sunday’s victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.
De’Von Achane injury updates
Thursday update: Achane is officially listed as questionable for Friday’s game. He was limited in practice each day this week.
Wednesday PM update: Achane was a limited practice participant on Wednesday. Head coach Mike McDaniel didn’t elaborate on his comments before practice, so we won’t know Achane’s game status for Friday until tomorrow.
Wednesday AM update: Head coach Mike McDaniel said that Achane will practice on Wednesday. Depending on how he feels and how much he practices will determine if Achane is able to suit up on Friday.
Monday PM update: Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel told reporters that Achane would not require surgery. He said that the rookie is considered day-to-day as the team preps for their Week 12 matchup against the New York Jets this Friday.
Fantasy football analysis
Miami already got used to life without Achane for the past month, so it will be business as usual if he’s unable to suit up for the Black Friday showdown against the Jets. That once again means that Raheem Mostert should get a bulk of the snaps and will be a definite starter for any fantasy manager who has him on their roster.
