Miami Dolphins running back De’Von Achane is active for their Week 11 matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders. This will be Achane’s first game since Week 4 as he suffered a knee injury. Raheem Mostert was great while he was out, however it’s fair to expect Achane to get his touches now that he’s returned.
In four games, Achane had 38 carries for 460 yards and five touchdowns. Those are insane numbers, especially for a rookie. He had three games with 100+ rushing yards and two with 150+ rushing yards. Achane has a different breakaway speed that not many guys in the league have. Getting him back should boost this Dolphins offense even more.
The running back position for the Dolphins is tough for fantasy. Mostert has been one of the top running backs in fantasy this season and it’d be hard to take him out of your lineup. But I would hold Achane out this week. With him being rookie, I expect Miami to ease him in over the next few weeks as they want him to be fully fresh for the playoffs. Expect Mostert to continue as the lead back.
