Game status update: Wilson is ACTIVE for Sunday’s game against the Bills.
Game day update: Wilson has said he will play on Sunday, per Adam Schefter.
New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson says his elbowinjury isn’t going to keep him off the field this Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. He’s officially listed as questionable, but he did manage to get some work in at all three practices this week, as a limited participant.
Garrett Wilson injury
Fantasy football analysis
Wilson dealt with the injury last week too. He did say that it affected him on a pass attempt in that game, a loss to the Raiders, but he still managed to catch nine passes on 14 targets for 93 yards.
Even though he’s in a touchdown drought—Wilson hasn’t scored since Week 2—he’s been a monster lately with at least 12 targets in his last four games. He topped 90 yards in three of those contests with at least seven grabs in each outing.
The Bills are ranked 14th in fantasy scoring for opposing wideouts.
If Wilson couldn’t play, it would give Allen Lazard a little more fantasy value.
NFL DFS analysis
Wilson’s got a good matchup this week against Buffalo. He’s a solid choice for a WR2. At just $6,400 in DraftKings leagues, he’s a bargain considering his high ceiling. Check the news Sunday morning to confirm his status, but he should be good to go.
Betting analysis
Despite a rough stretch for the Bills, the Jets are seven-point underdogs in this one, and that’s with Wilson assumed to be in the lineup. The over/under for his receiving yardage is 66.5, which seems like an obvious over (-115) since the injury doesn’t appear to be a threat to his receiving duties.
